ABOUT BEAVERS CHRISTMAS TREE FARM

We started planting Christmas trees in 1990 on our Trafford Alabama Christmas Tree Farm. Auburn was pushing Virginia Pines at the time and so that year we planted a total of 900 Virginia Pines. Since it takes several years for them to grow, we worked the trees for the next years until we had enough of a crop ready to go. In the fall of 1995, we opened up Beavers Christmas Tree Farm for business.

Neither one of us had any background  in Christmas tree farming. I wanted to make some  money off the recent purchase of land. But Carolyn had the idea to plant Christmas trees and go into the Christmas Tree Farm business. I contacted the regional cooperative extension and met someone who was involved in the Christmas Tree Farming industry and he advised that we should start the farm.

Over the years, we have planted thousands and thousands of Christmas trees. We now have many acres and variety of Christmas Trees including Virginia Pines, Leyland Cypress, White Pines. We also carry Living Christmas trees that are potted.

Beavers Christmas Tree Farm is located just north of Birmingham Alabama, and South of Cullman Alabama. We have been selling Christmas Trees to Alabama customers for 30-years. This season we have had the pleasure of serving third generation customers.
